Intellectual Property Declaration

1. Application and Code

The Story Tape Android application, including its source code, user interface, design system, and compiled release build, is the property of the Story Tape developer. You receive a limited personal license to install and use the app under the User Agreement (EULA); you do not receive any ownership rights in the software.

2. Brand and Trademarks

"Story Tape", the "Know the story before the next pump." slogan, the Story Tape logo (an amber ticker tape forming an upward tick on a dark news-desk background), the website design, and the marketing banners and social assets are brand assets of Story Tape. You may not use the name, logo, slogan, or look-and-feel to imply endorsement, affiliation, or partnership without prior written permission.

3. Market and Token Data

Story Tape is a read-only client over public Solana market data. Token names, symbols, prices, market caps, liquidity, volumes, and other market metrics shown in the app are sourced from public APIs — primarily DexScreener and GeckoTerminal, with Jupiter used for swap quotes and swap preparation. Those data points are provided by their respective sources under their own terms and licenses, and Story Tape does not claim ownership of third-party market data.

4. Source Stories and Linked Content

Each story card is anchored to the article, X post, or reel linked from a token's profile. Story Tape displays sanitized summaries of, and links to, those external sources; the underlying articles, posts, and media remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and platforms. Story Tape does not claim ownership of third-party editorial content, does not write original journalism, and does not independently fact-check the linked sources — links and summaries are provided for attribution and transparency, and tokens without a linked source are shown with a "no source story available" state.

5. Token Names, Symbols, and Project Marks

Token names, symbols, and any project marks referenced in the app belong to their respective projects and communities. References to such tokens in the feed are informational and are not an endorsement by Story Tape. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Solana Foundation, DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, or Jupiter.

6. Third-Party Components

The app and website incorporate third-party open-source components and publicly documented APIs under their respective licenses. Attribution and license terms for those components are preserved in the application's source distribution.

7. Reporting Infringement

If you believe that content displayed by Story Tape infringes your intellectual property rights — for example, a source story that misattributes your content, or a token symbol that misuses your mark — please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove or correct the material.
